Ava Belle

Ava Belle is a filmmaker currently studying video production. Her work includes promotional videos, educational content, and a feature-length tribute documentary about her great-grandfather, which she independently produced and premiered.In 2024, she won a nationwide video contest presented by the Vegetarian Resource Group for a school project on plant-based nutrition. In 2025, she was nominated for a Student Emmy Award by the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for Make Believe, a short film she wrote, directed, and edited.She is currently developing her next documentary project, with long-term interests in health, nutrition, and other niche subjects.

This project was nominated by Hennepin Technical College for a 2025 Student Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. It follows a young girl as she explores a forest, only to find herself face-to-face with a mysterious clown.

Days Gone By - The Story of Oral Sivigny

Days Gone By tells the story of Ava’s Great-Grandfather, Oral Sivigny, as he reflects on the things that shaped his life. Moments such as meeting his wife, raising his children, building a career, and experiencing the loss of loved ones. Through his own words, along with archival home videos and interviews with family members, the film captures both the quiet and significant moments that define a lifetime.The documentary serves as a reflection on time, memory, and the way one person’s life continues through generations. It remains as a keepsake for the family, holding onto the stories, the laughter, and the lessons, passing them down to the future generations.
